Cherry Blossoms

We got lucky a really great photographer, Andrea Hatch from our ward, asked us to help her out with some new advertisements for her photography business. She wanted to take pictures of us at the Tidal Basin with the Cherry Blossoms. So not only did we get to walk around the beautiful Cherry Blossoms, we also got some great pictures by an incredible photographer. Check out this link if you want to see the pictures. http://www.andreamariephoto.blogspot.com/

Disclaimer: Yes, we are still married! Justin's ring was photoshopped out because the photos are being used for engagement picture advertising.

St. Petersburg

Alright, we are way behind on posting! We took this trip about a month ago. Justin had a business trip in Florida so of course I had to jump on the chance to go somewhere warmer, and of course not wanting to be away from each other had something to do with it. It was so great to take a break from work. I LOVE staying in hotels! I don't know why, I always have. It's like magic when you go out during the day and come back to a clean room! At night we went out and walked around the town. There is a really fun night life there with live music and cool restaurants.
Justin... apparently emulating good old Columbus.
Our hotel was so beautiful! Anyone who knows what Casa Bonita (my favorite restaurant in Colorado) looks like, it kind of had that old Mexico feel.

My mom and sister came in town for a little Searle Girl Weekend! Every year we get all the Searle Girls together which can be a lot with all my sister-in-laws, and we go on a trip. But this year with everyone so busy my mom and sister just came to me:) My cute sister is seven months pregnant with a little baby boy! It was so fun to have them here to see our apartment and take them around town. Justin was such a great sport hanging with all the girls, although he didn't come on the day we went shopping, got pedicures and went to a chick flick... I can't figure out why!Inner Harbor in Baltimore!

We love it when we have visiters. Our really good friend Lindsey James came out for a short weekend visit. She is such a great friend to us. We loved having her in town to play for Super Bowl weekend. Thanks for coming all the way from Texas Linds!

Fore!

It has been so freezing out here that Justin has been going through golfing withdrawls. So you better believe that on the first Saturday that it warmed up (although not by much) we were out on the course. I am just learning how to golf so needless to say we end up driving all over retrieving my ball... through trees, on the wrong hole, or just lossing ball after ball if there is any water within 100 feet. Luckily Justin is so patient with me! I shank it off in the trees and he automatically comes back with, "Wow honey, that was great form". Haha Watch out Tiger! Aparantly Justin is an animal hater and thought it was funny to loft balls at the geese. Something about how they crap on the course. You tell them Justin!

Winter '08

We have been having a blast keeping really busy working and playing. It's so great being married to someone that loves to be on the go as much as I do. But sometimes it would probably be good if one of us just didn't want to go do everything so that it would balance us out:) I am now sick with the flu from being so run down. Last week was a blast though. We got to go to the auto show, a Wizards game, and up to Deep Creek for some good old East Coast skiing. Justin tried to prepare me that skiing was just a little different from the West. But I still didn't realize that it would only take us 20 seconds to get down every run! For those of you out in the west ENJOY the snow and terrain. But it was really fun just to get out and go again, and especially with Justin getting surgery on his heels we just wanted to go since it would probably be the last time we could go this season.
This is the beautiful cabin we stayed at while we were up skiing. We had a great time with the Gerards and love their family.

This is us at the Wizards game with Cameron and Princess Gamble, some good friends of ours out here. They are a great couple.

6 Months of Marriage

We have been fortunate enough to attend a lot of sporting events since we have moved to DC. These are pictures from some of the games.

This was a Haunted Forest. It took us 30 minutes to get through and it was so scary.
This was taken on the island of St. Lucia on our Honeymoon

Since we are just getting our blog site up, we thought we would put up some pictures up from the last 6 months since we got married.
