Baby Neumann Shower

I have the best friends EVER!! Last weekend my girlfriends threw me the cutest baby shower.
This game was so funny. The girls had to tear off a strand of streamer that they thought would fit around my prego belly.

I got to have my girlfriends from college there for the shower. They flew in from California and Utah.

Alia and Cambria worked so hard to plan the whole thing!
The best part about the shower was the surprise guest MY MOM!! I was totally shocked and it made the whole thing perfect. Sorry the picture is really blurry. We dropped our camera but it was the only shot we got together.

Girl's Weekend!

This past weekend my girlfriends came into town for a much needed girl's weekend!! We all lived together in college and now we're spread out from California to Utah to DC. It's funny how we never miss a beat when we're together again. Thanks for coming to visit girls!

Motorcross!!

So last week Justin tells me that on Saturday we are going on a special date night that he has planned. In Colorado I grew up around dirt biking and I LOVE it. Justin knows how much I miss that stuff out in DC. I was so excited when I found out that we were going to the Freestyle Motorcross at the Verizon Center I couldn't stop smiling. It was such a fun night.
Hard to tell, but this was a back flip. It is incredible to see the variations these guys are putting on tricks now. They have to be a little nuts to do this stuff!!
This little boy was in the seat next to us and was instantly attached to Justin. It's so funny how kids just love him. Justin said 'that was cool' at one point, and from then on the kid kept saying 'THAT WAS COOL!' even if nothing happened. His parents were so embarrassed and kept apologizing because he kept leaning on Justin and putting his little arm on his. It was so cute!!
This was the winner of the whole thing!!! He seemed like such a cool guy. He was so nice to the kids that wanted his autograph. In his interview after he won he kept saying how grateful he was for the fans and how he owed everything to the Lord. Nice to have a GOOD role model for kids.

Austin/Colorado

This is our niece Taren, who is giving me a run for my money with my husband. She wouldn't leave Justin's side and any time Justin and I would hug she would squeeze his neck and say "My Justin". Yeah, look how adorable she is... tough compitition!Hanging out with my brothers and their wives.
Casa Bonita, my FAVORITE place ever. Cliff divers, haunted cave, pinatas, what could be better?! Kerry and her cute little boy Colton came along with us. She is adorable prego!
New Year's Eve at my parent's house. Can you tell I'm just a little excited to finally be showing?! Yipeee!! Every day on our trip I started to show more and more. The coat I wore out there I couldn't zip up on the way back... embarrassing but true.
Lazar tag... we both got demolished by our niece Courtney!

Pre-Christmas

So even though we won't be in DC for Christmas that didn't stop us from getting a tree and decorating for the Christmas season. We will be spending Christmas in Austin, Texas with Lindsey's two brothers and then heading to Colorado to spend New Years with the rest of the Searle family. It will be great to be able to see everyone over the Holidays! So here is a rundown of what we have been doing to get in the Holiday spirit.

We went to Home Depot to pick out our Christmas tree right after Thanksgiving so we could get it up real early!

Putting up the Christmas lights outside our place. Our tree all decorated. Lindsey did a "Buddy the Elf" jump off our couch to get the star on top of the tree!

Since we are waiting for our fireplace to be built (we wish!) we hung our stockings on the railing. We went ice skating over Thanksgiving. Cambria, Lindsey and Whitney.

Lindsey and I at the ice rink. Lindsey is still learning how to ice skate, so she watched from the side!

The Neumann fam.

With my sister and cousin Chase.

As you can tell, we got an early start to Christmas this year. Since Lindsey is an organizational Nazi, we even have all of our shopping done! I am actually glad we are done with it, even if I was forced in to doing it!
